POLITICS:

·         Advaniji praises NREMEGA at UN! What’s with Advaniji he sings a different tune whenever he is abroad?

·         Robert Vadra has created more news than Robert Clive ever did even when he was in India doing what he was famous for!

·         Why so many Ministers are running all over to save a Private Citizen is hard to understand!

BOLLYWOOD:

·         Happy Birthday AB! You have done everything from A – Acting to Z -  to showing Zing in everything you do! We need more alphabets now. Congrats on a great life!

NATIONAL PARADOX:

·           More the scams less and less of Investigative journalism! Where’s the Pulitzer type of journos in India?  Glad Vinod Mehta admitting this on TV!

·            Can happen only in India! The more we try to liberate our women, Chautala echoes Khaps to say marriages for girls to be done before they turn 16 to avoid rape! Insanity running in family?

SPORTS:

·          Umpires in Pak and Bangladesh sacked by ICC after a sting operation catches them pants down! Well done Rajat Sharma! The old fire still burning well.

·          Zimbabwe cricketer Kevin Curran 53 dies while jogging. RIP Kevin.

·         Finally Justice comes from outside! IOC bars Kalmadi & Co even as our Govt. is rehabilitating Kalmadi and Raja!

·         Another ‘DLF’er! RV is hitting more sixes than Chris Gayle, Ross Taylor and Kevin Pieterson combined!

HEALTH:

·         Children are increasingly unsafe in India! Malnourishment, unhygienic hospitals and Shivakasi take regular toll on them. It’s time to reverse the trend.

POLITICS:

·         P.M.'s dinner @ Rs.7721 per plate. In Montek Ahluwalia's calculations, 7721/ 32 = 241 urban people could have had B/L/D that day and wished our P.M.ji.

·         In a developing country like ours, visionaries who remove hunger, especially among children deserve Bharat Rathna. Sadly that is not happening!!

·          Pareto principle; 80% of our Resources are gobbled up by 20% of our population. It could even be 90 /10!

·         National Mourning! India has failed to make it to semis in T20. We forget nobody, just nobody including BCCI dreamt India would win the inaugural T20 in S.A.!

HEALTH:

·          Naani’s Health Tips:  Diabetes? Eat two leaves of periwinkle plant every morning to bring blood sugar within limits, says Nani.
